About me
Welcome to my website. I’m Nathan, and I enjoy painting and drawing, mainly in my local area which is in Kingston upon Thames, just outside London, UK.
I studied art and design at Winchester School of Art and Middlesex University, and have admittedly taken a lengthy hiatus on my creative journey, before picking up my brushes in earnest in 2024. I was a bit rusty to start with yet persevered, making some gloriously terrible work before having anything I could remotely share with the world.
Spurred on by my patient and ever supportive family, I’ve been encouraged to leap into social media and the world of Etsy with my more recent work, some of which has found new homes, which is wonderful.

About my work
My work is generally landscapes. Looking at my body of work as a whole, the common thread is the way I observe the contrast of light through spaces within the viewers gaze and how emotive the natural landscape can be.
I’m also interested in the contrast of the man made and the natural and how these things sit next to each other. The stoic rigidity of the man made, interconnected with the vibrant messiness of nature with it’s changing seasons.
